All Nitro Methane and Nitrous Oxide powered professional racing motorcycles are required to have an engine restraint system which meets or exceeds the SFI Foundation safety standard 46.1. We have been manufacturing and distributing HDSS engine restraint systems which we believe are the best on the market, since 2000, when standard 46.1 was adopted by the AHDRA and other sanctioning bodies. The are manufactured from DuPont Kevlar webbing which is 4" wide and has been tested to a breaking strength of nearly 40,000 lbs, 12,000 lbs more than the standard requires. We choose to use 4" wide webbing to maximize protection and minimize the likelihood of the restraint slipping off the side of the heads. The unique feature of our systems are that they are adjustable. They are shipped with various length 5/8" grade 8 bolts to accommodate changes in engine height. They can then be snugged over your engine to maximize rider protection. Our systems can be manufactured to your specifications at no extra charge.
