The Pro Gas bike is built around a Bonnie Truett 3 rail frame.
Forks and front wheel: HD.
Controls and brakes: Pingel, ART and Performance Machine.
Engine: The engine is a 114 cubic inch sportster based model, with Axtel
cylinders, J & E pistons, modified HD heads, and STD cases with S & S rods and
flywheels. It operates at a 16:1 compression ratio.
Transmission: The transmission is a 4 speed HD model specially race prepped
by R & D motorsports.
Nitrous system: The Nitrous system is operated through the MSD ignition
system. Most of the components are from NOS, the worlds leading supplier of
nitrous system for racing applications.
Ignition: The ignition is a state of the art MSD MC-4 system which controls
all functions of the bike including the ignition as well as the nitrous systems.
Its a dual plug, single fire system. Plugs are from NGK.
Clutch: Bandit with three finger lockup.
Fuel: VP C-25 pro stock fuel.
Tire: 10" Mickey Thompson
Kickstand: Schwinn
PRO DRAGSTER
Engine: 122 c.i. Fast Cat bushing engine. Heads by STD, McClure Rods,
Truett and Osborn flywheels, S & S Super D Nitro carb with modifications by
Johnny Vickers.
Fuel: Nitro Methane
Engine Restraints:HDSS
Transmission: none-jackshaft
Clutch: Heidner
Chassis: Truett 3 rail.
Tire: 11 inch Goodyear
Ignition: Dyna
Body: aluminum
PRO FUEL
Chassis and Body: The chassis and body "one off"
pieces made by Alan Zonker. Body parts are fiberglass and aluminum and the chassis
is Chrome Moly tubing.
Engine: The engine has cases cast by Alan Zonker, a billet flywheel assembly
by PRP, cylinders by High Gear, pistons by Ross, and heads by High Gear. It
measures out at 151 cubic inches.
Fuel System:The fuel system consists of a custom dual throttle body and
fuel injection components by Kinsler and Waterman.
Clutch and Jackshaft: The clutch and jackshaft are machined by Liberty
Machine. The basket and front pulley are from Hawaya Racing, and the clutch
plates are all from Barnett.
Wheel and Tire:: The wheel is a side drive aluminum beadlock using a 13"
Goodyear racing slick.
Ignition: Dyna 4000
Fuel: Nitro Methane with just a whisper of Methanol.
Engine Restraint System: 4" HDSS system tested to withstand 40,000 lbs
of pull.
Data Recording: Racepak V-300, which measures EGT's, throttle position,
voltage, engine RPM, clutch speed and slip, and fuel pressure.
All engine, clutch and chassis work done in house.
